Chila is once again featured on the London Indian Film Festival posters for a third time.
Having previously been appeared on the poster for the 2019 10th anniversary and in 2021, with photographs of her karate practice from the 1980s, and her Auto-Portrait work on the advertising for the 2021 event, her shoko tan pose has been picked for this year's campaign, Films that Pack a Punch.
As well as having her artwork and imagery included, Chila has also twice shown short film works at past festivals: Armour (2020) with fellow artist, Susanne Dietz, exploring British Asian identity through the use of decorative symbols and jewelled body stickers was screened in 2021 and Dada and Punjabi Princess at the 2019 festival.
Sponsored by Chila's friends at the Blue Orchid Hotel, the festival will take place this year in venues across London from 23 June to 3 July 2022.
